... Münster's Brewery Pinkus Müller
Since 1816 covering 5 generations the Müller
family has
brewed beer in Münster. An unusual achievement which has not
often occured in the age-old tradition of brewing. Pinkus Müller
is in fact the only privately owned brewery still existing in Münster.
The name Pinkus Müller does not only
stand for a masterly brewed beer. Pinkus Müller also stands for
a family restaurant which serves typical Westphalian food whose
good quality is wellknown beyond the boundaries of the town.
Pinkus family restaurant offers a menu with mainly regional
specialties such as: Töttchen, Potthast, Pannekoken met Pillewörmer
and other Westphalian delicacies which guarantee freshness,
quality and originality.
But let us go back to the beer: Pinkus
Müller uses exclusively by tradition only natural ingredients
and first class water and of course the beer is brewed according
to the German purity law (Reinheitsgebot). Pinkus beers are not
only a popular drink in the Münster area, but also all over
Germany, in the U.S., Netherlands, Belgium, England, France,
Switzerland, Japan and Italy. Try it yourself. And should you
